Positives:
Hotel was located in a busy part of town on a main strip, so restaurants and shopping options were unlimited. You are literally minutes from Walmart and any restaurant you can imagine. Ease of access to the interstate is great too. The room was nice, with a sitting area with a TV and a pullout sofa and then a separate bedroom area with another TV and a jacuzzi in the room, a nice sized his and hers sink area with a linen closet and a separate toilet/shower area. The bed was comfy and the AC worked great. Despite being busy all hours of the night and day, the area was still quiet. The grounds are kept clean, the hotel was just recently remodeled and features a modern canteen area by the front desk. The breakfast area is spacious but not sure how the breakfast itself was as I didn't eat it either day of my stay.
Negatives:
We had to buy peroxide to clean the jacuzzi because it wasn't really clean/sanitary looking when we arrived. There is a poor caulking job around the edges of the tub and they used a cement putty to fix/seal the towel bar inside the jacuzzi. The door to the room was hard to open, so you pretty much had to throw yourself against the door to get it open. The toilet/shower area is tiny, so if you're bigger like we are, you don't have much room to open or close the door unless you step into the shower or straddle the toilet. And last but not least, I was overcharged for the stay by $120-ish. When I addressed it with the front desk clerk, I was told to contact Booking.com. I have done that twice now, sent over the information they asked for, and hear nothing back from them. The front desk could have fixed this, so I'm not sure why they didn't. Either way, all in all, I'd stay here again.
