Don't try to take a shower in room 200 unless icy cold showers are your thing!

The place is in dire need of upgrades and just basic maintenance. Since we were traveling with a dog we were banished to the basement ( 1st floor ) which is below the lobby level. Our bathroom had peeling paint on the ceiling and walls. The a/c unit was noisy and the walls looked like they were painted by a teenager. I have no idea if the guest rooms on the other floors are in the same shape. The breakfast area is too small. The bed was comfortable and a couch in the room was a nice touch. Our interactions with staff were pleasant.

Positives:
It's a great idea to have a separate section for pet owners. We were traveling with a puppy and the lack of carpet in the room was great. No one minded a little barking and everyone staying in the section was very friendly and supportive. Staff were very friendly and room and facility better than expected.
Negatives:
Lighting. With the LEDs the rooms are so dark. Not the hotels fault, really, but it was consistently the most annoying thing on our 10-day trip.

The AC wasnt good and the phone I stayed in room 114 and the phone was for room 401 and it didnt work

Right next to a truck stop and our room was on the side of the truck stop- heard trucks night long.
The unit for cooling and heating the room didnt work properly, but I was able to leave the fan on at least to keep air moving and block out some of the noise.
