Location was nice but big construction projects just outside.. heavy equipment and jack hammering starting at 6:30 am both mornings. Front staff did not tell us about the amenities at check in.. suggested we text if we had any questions rather than call..

Hotel room was like a prison cell. A tiny window which light was always shining through due to the curtains not working properly. Hotel staff assured me the hotel was not very full, yet they place us in one of the worst rooms possible.

Front desk and bar back staff were exceptional. Great location except you do have to valet your car at $55 a night. Secure street or lot parking is tough to find.

The room was not clean. Switchs smeared with fingerprints & residue. None of the bedside table USB or electrical outlets works. One fell threw to the floor. No TV remote. Bathroom was subpar clean w/hair, debris on the floor, GFCI tripped would not reset

Quietly nestled within the downtown area. Collectively, the subtle Banker's Alley door on 3rd Ave and the arrow pointing to the entrance brought us to the intrigue of a speak easy. Quiet and soulfully isolated from the crowd and traffic in the area.
Negatives:
Construction we experienced in the lobby was not an issue for us - expected from reviews while clearly marked with directions. Banker's close proximity to Printers Alley and sharing the Alley with Black Rabbit made entertainment accessible.

This hotel was disgusting. Very dirty from the room to the common areas. For a 4 star hotel, it was deplorable. Additionally, the service was poor. In 3 nights, our room was never serviced even though we called the front desk. Stay elsewhere.

Positives:
A little off the beaten path, literally entering through the alley, this place, surprisingly exceeded our expectations. This is probably one of the best hotel stay I’ve had. Everything was clean and smelled amazing. Our room had a very comfortable bed and was totally soundproof. Shower supplies were great, comfortable robe supplied in room. The gym is the best hotel gym I’ve ever used. The only things we didn’t like is that our room had a tiny window not a lot of light, the mini fridge was meant for small bottles and cans, so it was hard to store leftovers and boxes no way to heat them up. Overall, we were both pleasantly satisfied.
