Beds were comfortable. Cafe next door was good.
Negatives:
Location next to freeway so very noisy but inside room was acceptable. Aircon was noisy. Sink was cracked and no plugs in sink or bath. Room was not serviced at all in the week we were there and had to change towels ourselves. Breakfast was very limited and ran out of stuff quickly. Not a great experience.

Let’s see the neighborhood doesn’t appear to be safe. The front desk lady was rude. The guy on the night shift was even worse and my refrigerator did not work when I went to ask for a water. They tried to charge me that pissed me off. It’s just a lack of customer service. I get it that it’s a budget, friendly hotel however this place needs to be demolished newsflash it is October 23. Thank god!

Absolutely nothing, though I slept ok.
Negatives:
Location, amenities, staff, breakfast, cleanliness. Austin is expensive and I went about as cheap as I could...bad choice. This place is next to a frontage road and I35 at ground level, and more I35 above. The whole outside area is dirty, the worst being the now closed pool area, which is flat dangerous if you have kids. The room had no drinking cups or ice bucket, a very minimal breakfast, wifi that I couldn't log into, a bath tub stained brown!

Terrible- missing breakfast, broken furniture...
Positives:
The price was right for the location and accessibility. The hotel was pretty clean for the age of the hotel.
Negatives:
You can not control the air conditioner even though it is a window unit. The room was stuffy and didn't cool until sometime after 3:00 am. The walls are thin; you can hear the traffic outside, especially the inconsiderate guy revving his motorcycle at 6:00 in the morning right outside my room.

The room was okay e a good air conditioner
Negatives:
The room, particularly the bathroom needed a complete renovation. The fixtures had clearly been repaired and replastered in place without repainting. It felt dirty even if it was not. The fridge door was open and could not be closed because of the ice build up. There was no safe. When we enquired about these things on the first night the person at the front desk said they would not do anything about them and could not secure our belongings for us. When we left the woman at the desk said they would get the fridge taken out.

There was a HUGE ROACH in the room!!!! When I complained about it and told them we would NOT be staying there, they didn't apologize, they merely tried to move us to a "better room". For over $200 a night, we will absolutely not sleep in a literal roach motel. We booked the Doubletree down the street which was absolutely lovely. And clean.

What I liked best was the staff. They were awesome, Super helpful and very friendly. It was close to the Saint David downtown Main hospital.

It was disgustingly filthy & in a very sketchy neighborhood. The floors were absolutely filthy with visible spills on them of who knows what. The bathroom door did not close because it was destroyed. The bathroom floors were breaking apart. Filthy.
