Negatives: Food/drinks costs very high. Brunch with tip over $50

Negatives: When I first arrived I did not get the room I had ordered and was paying for. I don't know who's to blame here because they kept blaming you guys booking but I booked a room with a wrap around window. That was 50% of the reason for my trip. I was coming for a concert but I decided to make it just a full weekend of nothing but spoiling myself. I have a high stress job and I was suffering a severe burnout and I needed to reconnect and recharge and relax. I do travel a lot but I don't tend to spoil myself much. I can do get the basic hotel room because why splurge on a hotel room I'm just there for sleeping. Stuff like that like a place to sleep and such when I travel I tend to buy them just for the purpose intended and don't go overboard much. But every once in awhile I decide okay I'm going to totally splurge and this was one of those times and I haven't done that in a very long time for myself so I was greatly disappointed when I at first arrived and I didn't have wrap around windows. They tried blaming you at booking. They tried to tell me well booking sold you this room this is a King Corner Room. Good night double check here on booking and found that you guys have listed the king Corner Room as the wrap around windows. Which they blamed on you but I see is their fault because the hotels are the ones that provide the information for you to publish for them. Anyway that was all fixed. They gave me a the room with a full view of the river and a balcony and it was just perfect! I can't think them enough for going out of their way to help and where I was ready to never stay at a Hyatt again I will definitely return to this hotel! As far as the good sleep I really have a good sleep at a hotel but I don't really blame a hotel for that. There are so many different styles of mattresses and so many different styles of fellows and there are so many different people out in the world.

Negatives: We checked in on a Friday. The Wednesday before we arrived, the hotel had an issue with hot water. I did not receive a notice that they were canceling reservations due to this issue. I found out when I received a call from a vender I used to deliver balloons at 4pm check in time. I have been in contact with this hotel since February about our arrival and to make sure our vender would get access to our room to set up. I also ordered an experience the hotel offers back in February. When the vendor called me I spoke to the front desk and the informed me that my reservation was canceled due to not having hot water. They offered to find us a place, but that wasn’t an option in reality for us, we were arriving at the airport to fly to Austin. The front desk said they would give us a discount for the inconvenience if we stayed and that we could still have our experience we booked by the time we arrived. When we arrived and we checked into our room the experience was not delivered. When speaking to the front desk to ask when it would be delivered, they told me it would be happening they sent their kitchen staff home because of the hot water issue. I was so dissatisfied with how they handled this situation. This trip was a surprise for my husband.

Negatives: Lack of service Dated decor Poor breakfast service No water in rooms

Negatives: The drinks were massively overpriced.

Negatives: Prices at the bar seemed high for the value

Negatives: Old and outdated. Thin walls between rooms.

Negatives: Self parking rates.

Negatives: Cost of parking

Negatives: The font entrance was underwhelming, but once you walk through to the riverside all is redeemed.

Negatives: The vents in the ceiling at the top of the atrium are very dirty. They appear very hard to reach, but when a guest sees that, they wonder what else might not be getting cleaned. The price was a little high, nearly $500/night for standard sized room with two beds.
