Room was in very poor shape…toilet was off…due to running. Ceiling had a large open blister from a previous leak. Had to call more than once upon arrival to be able to check in and then again to be able to check out.

Got moved 3 times ac wasn’t working.. we got walked into our room by strangers opening the door on us. Toilet wasn’t working correctly.. on a five day stay not once did we get room service or new towels.

Positives:
It was very quiet, we were away from the highway, and there were no noisy guests. Also the room was clean and the bedlinens were clean. The room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and pleasant, which is a rare commodity in budget hotels in this area. I also liked that when I discovered I was missing towels and toilet paper (I had checked in quite late and it was nearly midnight when I realized what I was not seeing) I called for those items, and the fellow that answered the phone was quite upset FOR me, and told me he would have those things sent to me right away. About 5 minutes later, another fellow arrived with all that was missing. I did not notice, as I was quite tired, that there was also no soap or toiletries, and I will bet that those would have been brought as well, had I asked for them. As it was, I already had soap and that stuff, so it was not a big deal.

It was minor, but there were no towels and no toilet paper in the room. The wastebaskets were also missing liners. There was no soap or toiletries either. Also the shower curtain was hung too high and water got all over the floor in the bathroom. Also, it seems that during the reno, they forgot to replace the bathroom door, which had holes on the inside. Other thing is the lobby was locked, so there was no coffee. Really minor stuff, but it would be good if they can get that all taken care of.
