Near some restaurants & Wal-Mart

1 - they changed my reservation from 2 queen beds to 1 king bed. Even after confirming my reservation, the day before.
2 - Manger got rude as soon as I told her that I reserved 2 queen beds.
3- I called booking.com to let them know the situation. They confirmed I had reserved 2 queen beds on January 21st. So she called hotel to see why was my reservation changed.
3- Manager got rude with the lady from booking.com as soon as she answered phone.
4- Manger kept on insisting that my reservation came in as 1 king bed. Even after booking.com gave her all the info they emailed them on January 21st about my reservation.
4 - Manger didn't try to make things right. She was just very rude & ugly the whole time.
5 - all hotels were sold out. So we had no choice but to stay there.
6 - room was dusty, hair dryer & kleenex box was hanging off wall. Walls were dirty with drinks & food
Restroom wasn't clean. Room just felt unconformable .
7 - they gave my sisters room away. When she went in to check in Friday. They said she didn't have a reservation even after they had already taken the payment out of her bank account for her Friday & Saturday stay. And of course, the same Manger got rude with her.
8 - they had me checking out for Saturday even tho I was to stay till Sunday. So once again there I am in the office fixing the the situation.
My whole experience there was just horrible.

The location was good. It was clean and staff were friendly. Cute Texas shaped waffles for breakfast.
Negatives:
The horrible smell of the carpet was stronger than the deodorant they tried to cover it up with. This was a sock or shoe only room. The smell of cleaners was overwhelming. The breakfast was pretty terrible but you can’t expect too much. When we came into the breakfast room they had a murder investigation show on. My kids freaked out and I had to ask them to change the channel.

The staff was very attentive. The smoke alarm was beeping when I got in the room. I called the front desk and she came in about 2 minutes and changed out the battery. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Negatives:
There was noise coming from either upstairs or next door, like someone was renovating the room. It stopped about 11 pm.
