The carpets in the hotel were dirty. Our room had been "cleaned" and supposedly sanitized, but every table and shelving top were dusty/dirty and there was grit on the floor. The bathtub was slippery and there were no grab bars - very dangerous - and no hot water in the shower. We had asked for a first floor room but none were available when we checked in around 3:30p. The beds weren't comfortable and the pillows smelled bad - apparently never cleaned. The "blackout" curtain was too small so bright light shone in our window all night. Also, just because they were busy, the rates were higher than their standard rates - the front desk person explained that when there is something going on at the university, the rates go up.

Very disappointing, we couldn't sleep, so got up at 2am and left to drive to our next destination.

Got there and TV service was not working. Totally missed the football game. Also, hotel smelled the minute you walked through door. Smelled like a mixture of natural gas and dirt.

Breakfast was not good. I had to tell the guy who was supposed to be taking care of the food and coffee that he was out of coffee because he was just sitting at a table playing games on his phone.
Then, after filling 2 cups of coffee to take up to our room, I find out they don't have lids for the cups. He said they don't furnish lids.
