The on-site staff were great, especially the young lady at the front desk. She was kind, patient, and understanding. Otherwise, at least I got to stay in a room and not in my car.
Negatives:
The price was absolutely outrageous, immensely up-charged because of the eclipse. I booked about six months ago too make sure to get a room during the eclipse, and with such a busy time I was expecting some degree of up-charge, but $1800 for two nights at this location was insane. I've stayed at other La Quinta locations that I would've been happy to pay that much for. Here, the room was small with cracked plaster walls, stained carpeting, uncomfortable beds, and a tiny bathroom where it was so cramped you had to nearly stand in the tub to close the door.

After staying at some absurdly expensive (and disappointing) places in Eagle Pass, we were so happy to discover La Quinta. The room was spacious and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. We also appreciated the free bottles of water and snacks available in the lobby.
Negatives:
Breakfast could have been better, but it was adequate.

The rooms are a little out dated bathroom was small and the carpets are old, but overall the beds are super comfortable and they had a smart t.v for my kids to watch you tube! They have a big pool and very clean! Also the rooms are super clean!
