Negatives: From March 15th to 17th, 2024, I stayed at this hotel to be close to the location of my 7 and 11-year-old childrens state chess tournament. Upon arrival and after checking in, I took my kids to the pool while my husband stayed in the room. When he tried to prepare coffee, he found a marijuana cigarette in the sugar bag. I immediately raised a ticket to report what had happened, expecting the manager to contact us. However, that never occurred. On Saturday, I inquired about the manager, but he was not available. They gave me his card so I could reach out to him. On Monday, when he returned to work, I had to initiate contact. His response was that he had called our room to ask if we wanted to switch rooms, and we supposedly declined. Obviously, this never happened. We asked about him throughout the three days we stayed at the hotel, but we never managed to speak with him. I do not recommend this hotel. The situation is dangerous, especially with children in the room. Additionally, there were cockroaches everywhere. The hotels service from the manager was poor, and the room cleanliness was severely lacking. I hesitate to harm other businesses, but apart from what occurred, they claim to have spoken with us, which never happened. It would have been sufficient to offer room cleaning or a room change, but they did nothing. If you need accommodation in Edinburg, look for other options.
