Positives:
The hotel is spacious and the location is very convenient. There was plenty of free parking spaces. The beds were comfortable. The reception staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything was easy to find.
Negatives:
The hotel shows its age in many aspects. The carpets have a lot of stains and smell old. The bath tub has seen a lot of bathing. The shower valve would not switch between the shower and the running water from the faucet. Overall the property didn't look very kept up.

Positives:
Location was perfect: right across street from a park with benches. Stayed here for the 2024 eclipse in Dallas. Food at the Dover's Grill was very good.
Negatives:
Pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. Bar was not open immediately when eclipse ended at 1:45 pm (not open until 4 pm). Netflix didn't work. Service worker never showed up to fix Netflix. No tissues in bathroom. Phones did not work - had to call '0' for everything. No in-dining menu to look at. No in-dining service on Sunday.

Easy location close to DFW International Airport. We were there for the eclipse, and the location close to big roads in all directions was important for us.
Negatives:
Good location if you have a layover, but no "neighborhood" restaurants, etc. if you want to stay for longer
