The best pool and hot tub combination I’ve used in a long time. Dining, entertainment and shopping close by.

Seemed to have had a recent, poorly done paint job. Paint spatter etc. on sidewalks and in hallways. Staff was a little short on hospitality but the hotel was very busy due to the Eclipse.

The breakfast area could have been bigger, it was crowded. We enjoyed the indoor pool although the smell of bleach was really strong.
Negatives:
I did not like the fact we had to wait for our room to be ready. We expected to arrive at a certain time and we still had to wait a couple of hours more.

We booked a room and opted for early check in .When we got there our room wasn't ready. So we decided to take a smaller room instead of giving us a cheaper price we paid for a family suite. We didn't stay in the suite. The price was outrageous for the size of the smaller room. Stains on chairs and a ripped couch not worth the price. I will be contacting someone about this experience. We shouldn't have had to pay 370 for a smaller room.

Upon check-in, the lady at the front said we were too early, but they could get us checked in early for free if we gave a good Google review. There were old nasty chips stuck in the ac unit vent, the floor was uneven next to the bed (to an alarming degree), and the curtains were broken. The water didn't seem to have a cool setting, to the point the kids were uncomfortable rinsing off from the pool, which was overpowering with chlorine, yet still cloudy. The hot tub had this strange foam on the top. Not like bubbles, but almost dense foam. Even with the thermostat set to 64⁰ it was hot. The next morning, my wife and kids went to get breakfast, and my wife said she found what looked like mold on the apple slices. Also, the stairs from the 2nd to at least 3rd floor were missing carpet and trim, yet still had nails poking out. No warning sign or anything.
