The washer and dryer worked well. It is a quiet place. We had a good night sleep.
Negatives:
The toilet is very loud when flushed at night. Like in an airplane vacuum toilet. The elevator had a weird stink inside like a wet dog.

Room was clean, bed comfortable enough. A basic place to crash overnight

We accidentally left an unopened bottle of wine in the room fridge. We realized it a few hours after departure and called the hotel. Woman who answered said she asked the room cleaners if they found the bottle of wine, and they said emphatically that nothing was found. I hate being lied to. I know it was our responsibility, but a good staff would have been honest about it. This will keep us from returning.

It was what I expected for what we paid. We liked the free breakfast and waffle maker, the complimentary coffee and hot water all day, and it was quiet, even with the motel being fully booked. Most of the staff were great. Inside areas were kept very clean.
Negatives:
The outdoor pool wasn't very clean, it had all sorts of bugs and plants in it. Maybe it was too early in the season for outdoor swimming though. The place definitely showed it's age, with some rust around the doorframes, holes in the bug screens and towels that looked ready to become rags.

..booked because of offer for 8 $ the night on booking .com… when checking in the clark was hesitant and took a while as he was wondering about the cheap price (that was confirmed by booking .com)
The next morning - after “consuming” the stay we were asked to pay more as there was amistake and/or a glitch in the system… I was not contacted by anyone, neither phne nor mail and asked them to clarify with booking. com.
Mistakes can happen, but it was not my fault - and to ask for more after the fact was simply not acceptable.
