Positives:
Location was really pretty.
Negatives:
It was extremely noisy on the pool view side of the hotel. There was a wedding that went past 11pm with music so loud it shook my bed from the base. I also question their cleaning process- there was food and sodas left behind in the refrigerator.

Very disappointed that it was noted in the reservation you could upgrade to the yacht club pool but was told that was not an option for non member guests. 4 days never saw any birds on property as displayed in pictures. Hot tub was broken and kids club was not drop off, parents have to stay. Room was decent but bad renovation work. Fridge was not secured and fell over, toilet fixtures rusty, paint work was sloppy. Delay in getting pillows and towels.

Nice quiet little resort close enough for less than 4 hr drive from home. Which is good for Texas.

Really nice and comfortable, especially since it was a really hot day in Texas 108 degrees.
Negatives:
Found a half eaten bar of candy next to a little round red pill, in a drawer on night stand. Did not give me a warm fuzzy for safety.

Overall it was a quick short stay with family and friends that traveled from Germany for their annual vacation
Positives:
Nice grounds, food, atmosphere, good for golfing
Negatives:
We were unaware that they changed their policy to no longer allow overnight guests access to the Yacht Club beach after June 1 unless youre a member, and this was main reason we came back to this resort because we came years back and loved that area.
Positives:
I like that the hotel is near Lake LBJ
Negatives:
The Palm Villas, which is the only area that pets are allowed, smelled horribly like pet urine and even cat litter near the trash in the kitchen. The toilet stopper was old so the toilet would not flush. We had to have maintenance come out and fix it.

It was a nice clean facility and the staff was somewhat nice all around.
Negatives:
Do t like that you all advertise all inclusive but only the room and pool were included like a normal hotel. For the prices at least the onsite facilities like the putt putt, massages and restaurants should be apart if the package. Also the room was very hot and no matter how much we turned the AC on blast we were almost sweating in our room. This was supposed to be a relaxing weekend for me and my lady and it just didnt seem like we got a bang for our buck.
