Fist off my card was charged before I checked in without consent! When I called the hotel I was told a refund would be issued if required upon check in .
After checking in we head to our room to find the tv didn’t work and there were several red colored stains on the carpet.We called the front desk and was told she would send someone to check the tv. 30 -40 minutes went by we called the front desk and no one would answer. My husband walked downstairs and we were assigned another room .
We moved to the 5th floor to a room slightly bigger however the room had a horrible smell of pet urine and vinegar
At this point it was late so we sanitized the room and stayed the night. 
This was the worst experience !

Every thing else was poor.dirty room,never servesd during our stay for 3 night.Dirty stained carpet The room phone and and the coffee machine was broken.There was no tissue box in the room.The breakfast was poor.Bad experience.Very disappointed.

The ease of getting to the place.
Negatives:
The rooms don’t clean them, the TV doesn’t work, they don’t put towels and an employee tells me that the towels are all dirty and the next day they gave me two, I had to buy two towels at Walmart, the fridge in the room didn’t work and the breakfast was a disaster... They should better remodel it first by the new administration and then open it with the new name. I DON’T RECOMMEND IT FOR NOW.

Checking in was simple and easy and the location was great!
Negatives:
pull out didnt have sheets or cover called the front desk and they asked me to come get them. took my kids downstairs and waited 15 minutes for them to tell me they didnt have any. Had to travel late at night with small kids to get a blanket and sheets

Certainly one of the Best Medium-Price value deals in the Houston Hobby area. FYI. There are a lot of "dumpy" low cost BRAND NAME HOTELS which don't measure up to their logo.
THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!!
It is a TRUE VALUE in this "overused/abused/run down" former FIRST AIRPORT for civilians in the HouTex Metro...
The Staff showed extreme COMPASSION in addition to their WELL-KEPT HOTEL and adequate FREE BREAKFAST!!
I even saw/witnessed 3 women supervisors & managers meeting one morning OVER A STRAY DOG/unaccounted--for a little DOG --i.o.w. how to find a SAFE PLACE for this tiny WHITE CHIHUAHUA who was LOST in the HOTEL PARKING LOT right next to BUSY INTERSTATE HWY 45...very close to this raging, mucho traffico, INTERSTATE where this little white dog cd easily have DASHED ON TO and DIED!!!
In my opinion, these three employees WENT WAY BEYOND DUTY in saving this tiny dog's LIFE and hooking up if the DOG belonged to one of the HOTEL'S GUESTS?!!! WOW! If THEY, the Staff, were trying to SAVE a LITTLE DOG'S LIFE along w/ their OTHER DUTIES, then THINK HOW WELL THE STAFF WD. TREAT YOU, if YOU had a problem while staying HERE!!!
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THAT CONCERN IN A HOTEL BEFORE?
I was AMAZED when I brought it to THEIR ATTENTION that there was a LITTLE LOST DOG RUNNING AROUND THEIR SOUTHSIDE PARKING LOT!! They said: "Oh, yeah Dan--thanks for telling us--and they were already ON TOP OF IT!! :-)
I was "blown away" BY THAT!!! It blew my mind to actually SEE a Hotel Staff who CARED about a LOST DOG!!
GREAT NIGHT'S SLEEP, btw, especially since it is SO CLOSE to I-45 "Going to GALVESTON" Southbound I-45 is AS BUSY AS IT GETS with all the folks wanting to go down to GALVESTON'S BEACHES.

(even the BREAKFAST did the job--but it wasn't a HAMPTON INN great breakfast--but they "got U goin' in the A.M."--with a Starter Breakfast until you got down the Road to a good lunch to fill the empty space in ur tummy...
