La Quinta was reasonably close to the airport. Although we had to wait a while for the shuttle from the airport, going back to the airport the next morning was easier and faster.
Negatives:
We had already been waiting hours after our plan landed - first for it to pull up to the airport and then to claim our luggage, which didn't show up. After we finally arrived at the hotel with the shuttle, there was quite a long line up to check in, and just one person working at the desk.

Did I pay extra? Oh, hell yes I did.....BUT not on purpose. They price gouged me BIG TIME! I'm legally blind & thought I was paying $600 some for 3 night stay. Nope. They charged me $669 A NIGHT for a room with a king bed. When I asked the mgr, Catina Jackson to please price adjust she laughed and said it's what I agreed to pay. I'm legally blind and unfortunately need to rely on the "honesty" of people at times. WORST hotel stay of my life! There was an elderly gentleman that worked there who once was the mgr. Said he'd been in the hotel business his whole life & has NEVER seen anyone treated as I was treated.
