Beds were small and hard as a rock ! Television was small ! Air conditioner was an old unit and barely installed allowing outside air to come in the room. SECOND FLOOR ROOM IN THE BACK .. the scariest part of the hotel WITH A CHILD

Shower not hot. Room showed it had carpet but did not. I do not like hotel rooms without carpet. It never looks updated. Always looks like a prison cell. I do not like it when the room shows carpet and then doesnt.

At first site the location, cleanliness and setup of the hotel was nice.

Once we got in the room we noticed roaches were crawling out of the recesses. I had a hard time sleeping and wont be back. A simple pest control resolution is badly needed.

The room card keys didnt stay coded. Every time I needed to get in I had to go to the office on the other side of the building. I was in line behind another guest complaining of the same issue.

location was fantastic, likely the best in Lufkin! Value is spectacular. This hotel is for a minimalist like myself. Everything was great nice clean the rooms aren't that big but that's okay. It served our needs the breakfast was adequate. For $80 what do you expect great value that's what I expect!

It would have been nice to have a clean pool to swim in but this is the time of year where they cut that back. There may be two more weeks where the pool is open anyway.

This is a good nice clean Hotel if you're on a budget number one in Lufkin as far as I'm concerned.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the made us put a deposit when we got there that we were unaware of, the second day we were there we had no water in the room to shower or use the restroom. The lock was broke and felt very unsafe staying there.

The bathroom light was completely disabled. Had to show with no light. Beds were so out dated. You could here the springs every time you moved.

I called to confirm and pay because I was gonna arrive late and was told I could pay cash when I arrived and by the time I got there my reservation had been canceled and had no where to stay!!

Debbie from the kitchen staff was exceptionally polite and nice
Negatives:
Very strong chemical smell in the room. I have airway disease and had to air out the room. Also my door had at least a quarter inch around the door. The front desk guy came and put a TOWEL down and did not attempt to fix. Also, the lights were wired incorrectly to the room with the tub and toilet. I got shocked when trying to use the plug and the light. The lights flickered a lot. Front desk staff were not helpful whatsoever. I was promised a credit but then the next day refused. Plus, the box spring covers were coming off. Horrible stay
