La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lumberton

Negatives: We were in town to attend a funeral . The Room was misrepresented to include a sofa that let out into a bed; we had a booking for 5. A torn ripped mattress rollaway was crowded into the room. The front desk representative’s response was nonchalant with every repeated complaint. Trash and an empty ice cream container was under the chair from a previous guest. The Elevator’s outage resulting in the fire department bringing my elderly mother down from the third floor after being notified of her handicap prior to check in. After repeated request to speak with Management, I only spoke with management the morning of our check out; the young lady on shift that morning graciously allow me to use her personal phone to speak with manager. The conversation only occurred because management happened to call while I again complain to the front desk.

Negatives: The elevator not working but it wasn’t a big deal. We didn’t mind using the stairs. Only complaint

Negatives: The uncourteous female clerk that got offended by the gentlemen clerk helping my 79. your old mom with her belongings

Negatives: It was noisy outside of our room. We were close to lobby and breakfast area. There were holes in the curtains, the plaster on the ceiling was coming off. There was mold in cracks of shower. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. The company really needs to remodel or do cosmetic updates. Oh and the security lock was broken.
