Positives:
Hotel is close to where I had to meet, to a family restaurant and Walmart. No bed bugs.
Negatives:
Customer service at check-in was poor. Hotel Room: Furniture is deteriorating. Lights were not working properly. There was an old water leak in the restroom above the shower head, that eventually broke a piece off the ceiling (the next morning). It smelled like smoke and moldy. We asked for non-smoking.

The maintenance man was in the room next to me so once he was aware of the problem with the door he was there to replace the batteries quickly.
Negatives:
The entrance door wouldn't lock so I had to wait for maintenance to change the batteries when I was trying to leave. The light bulb in the bathroom went out the morning I checked out.

The stay was relaxing.
Positives:
They had availability, due to a drag racing competition in Waxahachie, Texas there were no other hotels that had a room. We were there for a funeral on the following day.
Negatives:
The bed was very uncomfortable,you could feel the springs poking you thru the mattress. The night stands had water damage on the inside, the base around the wall had water damage like the room had been flooded. Our sleep was very uncomfortable, we slept fully clothed and I don't want to forget about the peeling loveseat that looked liked and old chocolate chewy cookie.

Comfortable beds and I felt safe. The breakfast was okay (would have liked some meat options). Right near a Walmart. Small pool. Good TV. Plenty of parking.
