I love how large the rooms were. I love the kitchenette, I love the closet space,and the overall quality of the room.

The front desk lady was awesome. I forgot her name but she was a young black lady. She was very professional.

The room has a bad smell, and I was greeted with a roach on the counter upon entering. I couldn't get comfortable with the smell and had to try and sleep with lights on because I didn't want any roaches to appear when turning lights back on. The bathroom was ok, not perfect. There was only enough towels for one person and I paid for more than one. We couldn't switch rooms because they were all booked. So we couldn't get out of the horrible smell. One of the picture frames were missing a picture. I will NOT be paying to stay here again.

The bed was comfortable. The staff was more than accommodating, and helped me without complaint.

The issue here is the smell. There is a definite smell once you enter the lobby, which only intensified in our room. The Carpet was the primary culprit I think. It was a Body Odor smell that was actively fighting a bad deodorizer.

The water for showering was cold, my car got stolen and I still haven’t gotten it back. The staff was unapologetic about the water being cold. It was just like a oh well. And no one seemed to care the car was stolen. Yet said it’s never happened in all the years blah blah. Horrible stay.

Well, I was confused about staying there upon arrival because it didn’t feel like a hotel. It was a bunch of kids running around and a lot of lobbying. I had a two queen suite and my room and the linens smelled old and musky, which made the entire room smell. Shortly after being in the room a couple of hours, my son discovered a couple of German coaches. We instantly grabbed all our belongings and jolted down stairs. Staff was very nice and tried to make it right by accommodating us with two new rooms and a free snack item from the store. Now, I wasn’t going to leave a review, however one of the rooms we were given smelled of urine! By this time we were tired and just pushed through the night so we could leave in the morning. Worst experience I ever had while staying in a hotel. I will never give another Candlewood Suite my money.
