Location. Rooms were nice and smelled clean

The floors took forever to dry and were super slippery when wet. Our phone in the room wasnt working. And thin walls we could hear everything. Especially all the dogs going crazy at 6 am

The staff was super accommodating & friendly. I was traveling with my newborn & they made sure we were well taken care of. They also kept the coffee filled up & let me grab snacks from the breakfast area when I woke up too late for the free breakfast.

The location was good. We were given the main level as requested. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was good. Everything was clean.

We saw roaches twice in the room on the walls.

Ok to stay for 1 night.
Positives:
The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The wifi was strong, and the size of the room was perfect. Having a full kitchen is great. The ac in the main living area gets really cold but doesn't circulate to the back room.
Negatives:
The king bed was hard and noisy. It squeaked with any movement. The king room was very hot because I think the water heater connects under the floor or something. The floor was hot and therefore kept the room hot and humid. The sofa bed is ready to be retired, noisy, mostly springs and flat. As a couch, it's fine, but not to be utilized as a bed for kids. The queen bed in the main room, just replace it already. Management should do a bed check every 12 months or so. It was the hardest bed I have ever slept on. It's just springs, and the little topper does nothing for it. Sometimes you could hear the staff next door, but nothing too loud. Our last night we could hear slamming doors at 3am upstairs.

Wonderful family owned motel.
Positives:
The staff was outstanding. They were happy to serve every time I needed them. The location was great for the part of the beach we like to go to. And its out of the crowded part of the island, but close enough to what we needed.
Negatives:
The lights outside on the porch were bright and the curtains in the room let way too much light in and made it hard to sleep. The beds were a little too hard for me. The sink had low water pressure.
