The staff especially was friendly and chatty which was very nice. Its fun to joke with people after a long day!

Parking was actually a big problem. We couldn't get out with the code, and it took some time to get someone to come and unlock the gate. There were several sort of angry people stuck behind us.

We liked the room We liked the room and the hotel, although I feel it needed a bit more care and maintenance, but otherwise everything was fine. It was a very good stay.
Negatives:
We didn't like the receptionists very much; we felt there wasn't much willingness to assist. They spoke very quickly and with annoyance, showing no willingness to offer further explanation for any questions we asked. There was a small incident with a delivery we ordered; three deliveries arrived with very short intervals, about 5 minutes apart. I decided to wait to pick up all three bags, but when I went down, I was told they didn't have them, that they had been taken away, and they didn't know which room they were for. So, I waited and waited, already annoyed. Eventually, another person came out from a back office with the three bags in hand. They didn't apologize, and it felt like they wanted to keep them. Fortunately, I waited until they resolved the issue.

The hotel itself was nice and I did appreciate they had a parking garage.
Negatives:
The staff wasn't very welcoming or social didn't even get a cookie offered to me, they just seemed like they were there to get a paycheck. Location said downtown but we still had to drive to anything we wanted to do downtown like thw rover walk, restaurants, shopping. The room was so hot I was up all night long messing with the thermostat to try and get it semi comfortable... it never happened. The bed wasn't bad but the pillows sucked. The have a restaurant on site but it's pricey and the pictures they had posted were not appealing. Elevator is out of code date as well which isn't a huge thing it just expired but I still hope they get that inspected. Parking garage on site is a plus but having to pay for thw parking sucks. At the price per room per night it should be included. When checking out the young lady did offer a smile but still not very social able.
