Location, updated, the pool open late, free breakfast with variety, housekeeping made beds and brought fresh towels and toiletries daily

Bathroom, had problems with the handle on toilet and also the shower/tub handle would fall off, could tell they had previously tried to repair it

it was a great stay i would stay at this hotel again!!
Positives:
Generally well kept, good sized room, ample storage space for clothing, nice pool, coffee in the lobby, good breakfast, close to public transportation, and friendly staff. Lots of electrical outlets and USB ports. Only a few blocks from the Riverwalk (less than a mile walk to the convention center).
Negatives:
A few things needed fixing and they were not too quick about doing so (ice machine not working on my floor and never fixed over the 6 days I was there, no plate in the microwave and took several requests to get one, tub plug disconnected. Even though they said they had daily maid service (which I declined most days), when they came they did not clean, just replaced towels, emptied trash, and did not refill coffee packets on one of the two days.

Staff was very friendly(didn't get his name, but he was so sweet)
Room was clean, and fully stocked on GOOD shampoo/conditioner/body wash - bed was very comfortable, pillows not so much, but comfy bed made up for it.
Not far from the Riverwalk(walking distance or even scooters or lyft/uber is what we did)
