The hotel appeared to be a bit aged on the upper floor rooms, but the room was nice enough and even had a kitchen available. The location is superb and you'll be hard pressed to find a better one. Theres easy access to downtown and the river walk. Breakfast on our 2nd day there had amazing items for a breakfast tacos you could make yourself.
Negatives:
It was a bit expensive, and hotel parking was only available as a pricey 40 dollar a night valet service, however other lots where you could pay to park were available somewhat close to the hotel.

Only thing I could find fault with was the swimming pool and parking. Swimming pool was tiny and got absolutely no sun!! We didn't use valet parking as it was very expensive. Parking garage (Houston street garage) was a 2 min walk away 9 dollars a day which was very reasonable.

My room was charged after it was already paid for though booking.com, this caused us to go negative in our bank account.Had no money for dinner the first night, employee brought us up two bottles of water and a small handful of candy to try and make up for it. Absolutely ridiculous ,had to have money wired to me for the rest of my stay.Money is still not in my account three days later.
I was told by manager that two nights would be comp. But I haven't received anything regarding the reimbursement for that either.
Absolutely the worst vacation!!!!!Staff at hotel didn't seem to care,or make any effort to correct the situation.
We had this trip planned for week's,we saved to be able to take this trip.It was completely ruined due to front desk unable to do the job properly.Im beyond disappointed with my experience!!!!!!
