Negatives: I booked the last room available, seemingly in all of Temple, bc I am traveling for work and had to finally stop and rest. The man at the front desk tried to charge me well OVER MY RATE that I booked the room for and then when I began to question why the room would cost that much, he all of the sudden shut the window and said he would not give me the room. And I am a working single mom, so I also had my child in the car with me! We had to go all the way to Killeen to get a room, bc we just kept driving down the highway and EVERY HOTEL WAS FULL. So I don't know why this man turned us away at 1:00am in the middle of the night, after one - I even called to confirm the booking and price, and two - he had the nerve to try to charge me $135 for the room! When I booked a price specifically through YOUR website. I was and am furious and baffled.

Negatives: I was disappointed that the entrance to the room was through an interior hallway. A downstairs room was requested and agreed to online. At check-in I was informed that only upstairs rooms were available because all the downstairs rooms were taken. However, for an extra charge a downstairs room could be provided. It became obvious that the hotel was by no means full. Give the desk clerk kudos for making an extra buck.
