Our room was filthy with old food, dirty dishes, and a bloody pillowcase. When it was brought to the staffs attention with photos of the mess. He told me that I would just have to come back after 11pm when the manager got there! I was exhausted from a long day of travel and certainly didn’t want to stay up until after 11. I set an alarm to wake up at 11:15 to go speak with the manager. She offered to switch rooms or go up and clean it up herself. But the family is already sleeping and certainly not what we wanted to deal with in the middle of the night when none of this was offered earlier in the day when it was brought to their attention.

Few obvious broken things needed to be fixed in the room. Missing bedding for sofa bed. Empty bottles in bathroom and no extra roll toilet paper ready available. However everything was addressed promptly.

Yes, there was dirty dishes, a dirty fridge, my towels didn't smell clean and the sofa bed wasn't made. I had to clean dishes before using them and there wasn't any paper cups for coffee.
Positives:
The cook, Jasmine, was extraordinary!! She was exceptionally cheerful and welcoming every morning. The egg entrees she prepared were very good. She went above and beyond to serve us. Jasmine made our stay wonderful!
Negatives:
Our bed was a bit too soft, and the sheets were thin and slid off the mattress every night. Dead flies on the windowsill, a dirty microwave, and lack of a bar of soap and glasses at the bathroom sink were disappointing.
