It was a completely unexpected surprise to see the exact Jimmy Dean croissant breakfast sandwiches I eat at home part of the breakfast grab & go options. Your renovations on the property make it like brand new. Very impressed!
Negatives:
Thermostat-controlled air conditioning would be a nice improvement - rather than the in-the-wall unit alone.
Having an active fan in the bathroom is preferred over just passive ventilation. Maybe I just missed the switch.

Right across from kings dominion, rooms were lightly themed for the park, looked recently renovated, good price, free parking
Negatives:
Breakfast was “to go bag” not actual continental breakfast, hotel was within walking distance of kings dominion but no crosswalk to actually safely walk there, no real stores or restaurants nearby the property

Enjoyable hotel next to kings...
Positives:
The gal who checked us in was very friendly and sweet. The bed was comfy. The coffee bar was nice. They had a decent selection of snacks and some essentials for staying in a hotel.
Negatives:
Stain on the comforter/duvet. Tv remote didn’t work properly. Our breakfast was served in a bag the night before due to no breakfast area. Only the ice machine on the first floor worked. Cigarette ashes on the ceiling in the shower like someone put out their cigarettes. The toilet lid wouldn’t stay up. The shower drained very slowly and was standing in a pool of water. Our key cards stopped working after the first night. When we asked for new cards, they questioned if we knew our room number and asked us if we were sure that we weren’t staying in a different room. Cigarette butts everywhere outside the hotel. Trash in the parking lot.

Shower was not good. It had a cheap spray nozzle and tub did not drain well.

The beds were comfortable, loved the pillows. The heater would click when it came on, I woke up and my sister-in-law several times during the night. Rhonda the at check-in and check-out was very nice.
