La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Richmond - Kings Dominion

Negatives: Asked for extra bed sheets for the couch, lady was rude and made us go get them from the desk instead of bringing them to our room on the first floor. Also charge an extra cleaning fee to your card at the get go which they say is refundable once we leave long room is clean shouldn’t charge upfront should be a waiver that could be charged if room is left dirty, the room had a funky odor to it as well.

Negatives: I should have known better when I tried to contact the property and the number was disconnected. Upon my arrival there were people at the desk complaining about doors not working. I was locked out of my room for 30 mins. And the staff member had an attitude as if I was the problem. There were SEVERAL rooms where the doors lost power. When I asked if she had a master key to just let us in she said “no I don’t, not even the manager has it”. And she kept catching an attitude with another customer telling him “why don’t you fix it, your the engineer” this went on for 30 mins of her trying to key the door despite the door not having power. People including myself tried to explain to her that wasn’t going to work and she just kept being nasty and bickering with the other guest. Finally one of the maids saw me upset and asked what was wrong and stated she in fact did have a master key. This was at 10am. Me and my family left to visit the parks and was assured it would be fixed by our return…I stayed if not please move to a room I can access as I please. To be able to come and go as I please. Too which she scoffed and ignored me. When we returned at 745pm the problem was still not fixed and we had to be escorted and let into our room. No efforts were made to accommodate us. If we wanted to go to the pool or to eat, we had to find someone to let us back into our room. I don’t understand why she could not just move me to a room where the door worked. Now for the interior…the lobby was nice but beyond that…No. everything is rusted and outdated. The ceiling had a crack. The walls the baseboards were peeling off or missing. The pool was clear but the rails and doors were COMPLETELY rusted. The outside door also were malfunctioning so I guess they just left them unlock which posed a whole other safety issue. We had a pull out couch but we weren’t provided with any pillows or blankets for said bed. The shower head was falling off. The tv could only be turned on and off by hand.

Negatives: I felt like it was the older, less upgraded, of the 3 hotels right there together.

Negatives: Wouldn’t accept my government discount when it’s same as military.

Negatives: Pool was dirty Furniture dirty

Negatives: On booking.com it said it was a indoor pool and hot tub but there was no hot tub and that’s the reason we picked this hotel

Negatives: TV was horrible and not sure how clean the bed was ac made loud noise all night long rm118 the pool looked sketchy small and green

Negatives: Um I cut myself on the metal frame of the bed. The holes in the wall

Negatives: Front desk wasn’t friendly and should probably be off his cell phone when he has a guest waiting. It’s just the polite thing to do. Bathroom sink was stained heavily and hair on bath thub. I would have asked to be switched if we weren’t spending just one night. One one Tesla charging in the area and located spot at the next hotel next door. Only ome car can charge. I expected to see more charging spots at the hotel like I have in most hotels. Restaurants are 14 mins away except fast foods. I expected to see multiple locations to dine in since we are not really a fast food kind.

Negatives: Everything about the actual hotel was terrible
