I’d like a full refund. After a long day i arrived to the hotel around 10:30pm. I checked, went to my room and fell asleep. When I woke up in the morning. My door was slightly ajar. Admittedly I hadn’t engaged the top latch lock on the door frame. I attempted to shut the door only to realize the locking mechanism was unable to engage and actually close. This means the door was not able to physically close. It might look closed, but if you pushed it, the door would just open. The key card was meaningless. I told the woman at the front desk, and she was pretty dismissive. I told her she can’t rent the room out because the door doesn’t close. I had to repeat it a few times before she understood what I was saying. I’d like a full refund.

I liked the location of the property there were a lot of stores in the area. The mall was less than 10 minutes away. It was a quiet neighborhood & the house was clean when I arrived.

Breakfast was good - nice selection and not too crowded when we went. The beds were comfortable and shower was nice.
Negatives:
The room was cold and there was a thermostat but it did not actually turn the heat on. We spoke to the front desk and they said they have an eco boiler that needs to be switched on for the whole hotel and if they do it too early people complain that it's hot. I said well our room is cold. I spoke to the front desk again a few hours later to ask if it had been switched on and the person there had no idea what I was talking about and didn't offer any solutions. When I spoke to someone about it at check out she said it never got cold enough to switch it on - but the temperature outside was in the 40s or 50s overnight. She said they have portable heaters and should have told us about this at check in. They did not and neither person we spoke with that night offered us one. I've never stayed in a hotel where you couldn't adjust the heat.

Positives:
Front desk clerk was polite.The breakfast was pretty good. And I was glad my kids enjoy the exercise room and the indoor pool.
Negatives:
I didn't like that I couldn't really change the temperature to heat. And then the space heater didn't blow out heat but it smell like the heat was on. And the rooms could use more sugar and cream. I like my coffee sweet so I had to come down stairs to make a cup of coffee. Also it would be nice that housekeeper would take the trash out on a daily basis just like they change out my towels.
