Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

There was damage to the refrigerator and the ceiling had obvious water damage. Additionally, the staff was a little rude. Often on their phones or active personal calls when I was asking for something.

Someone who was not a welcomed visitor came looking for me and was able to get information on my reservation and was sent up to find me without my permission which I feel was very dangerous.

Outside my room in the hallway, it smelled like weed. The fitness center did not have enough of a variety of free weights, and despite the amenities stating there was to be a hairdryer in the room, there was not. Had I known there wouldn't have been one, I'd have packed one.

My reservation was given away. I have nevered had that happen to me ever before. I came to the hotel around 1am. Due to me having a medical emergency and had to leave New Jersey a little late in the afternoon. Only to come to Virginia, and be told, my reservation was given away. Because they over booked!! It was horrible! Luckily, I was able to get a hotel somewhere else. I will never stay, or consider staying here again.
