Front desk staff was kind of rude. Our sink faucet wasnt long enough to reach the sink and constantly flooded. Also did not appreciate being directly across the elevator, after a stressful check in.

We drive from NY to Florida and back every year. Staying at the Graduate in Richmond is the highlight of our drive. We make sure to stop here when we plan the drive.

My shower door imploded at 05:00hrs for no reason at all!! I woke be up with a loud bang and I opened the bathroom door to this mess!! Had to change room which took a while but the staff got me all sorted out

the downstairs was comparable to the moxy and was nicely decorated.
Negatives:
the rooms are not of value, had torn carpet, leak stains on ceilings, rooms didnt reflect quality of common facilities, bar and breakfast far lacked availability of products, staff was underwhelming and lacked customer service.

i was disappointed in the hotel and felt like i overpaid for our stay.. i would probably never return.

King suite with 2 bathrooms was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The location (for a wedding at the Jefferson) was perfect for us.

Breakfast. It was a big nothing unless you are a 20 year old boy and want an egg and cheese or a breakfast burrito. Bathrooms were very small

Make sure to avoid any room by elevators as there is an extremely loud ding that rings four times when Al elevator arrives. Due to this noise we constantly awoken all night.

Although it was a pet friendly hotel, there was no dog park area. No ice makers were readily available. The instant coffee wasnt very good.

Decent stay, clean and comfortable, but a bit expensive
Positives:
Good location near The Fan and downtown. The decor and furnishings were nice. We did not use the rooftop but the pool and bar seemed great.
Negatives:
The pool was closed for our one night there. There is a $35 charge to check in early, even if your room is ready upon arrival. After finally checking in, we noticed thick clumps of fur stuck to our socks. The floors must not have been cleaned adequately after a previous guest had a pet. The front desk was unable to offer slippers or a comparable room change, and they did not offer to clean. They said they would talk with the manager about a discount, but none was given when we checked out and raised the issue again. It was just a lot of money to stay somewhere that we had to wear shoes between the bathroom and bed in order to avoid more fur getting stuck to our feet. I would not stay here again.
