We thought we had requested a non-smoking room. Hallway and room reeked of smoke. When we remarked about the issue to the night manager, she didn't seem overly concerned about the issue which was quite bad.

Called front desk twice and no answer either time ... prob short staffed like the rest of the fully-employed country ... overall, place needs a BIG refresh and, to their credit, there was significant work visibly underway ... overall, cleanliness was OK but signs of aging and a general lack of attention to detail was the rule.
