I can to Roanoke to bring my nine year old daughter from spring break I picked this location because it had a pool and she wanted to swim. It was to cold to go out to swim at your sister location.

There was a lot to do around it.

I got told when we went to try and swim that I had to go to another hotel to because they were waiting on parts.
I got told the washer didn’t work. So I washed my clothes by hand to take them down to dry only to be told I had to download an app to use it to dry them. And it didn’t work either. So now all of our clothes are hanging around on everything drying hoping to be dry by morning so we have something to wear other than pjs.
When I asked for new bedding and new towels on our way out of the hotel, I was told they would give them to me so I could do it myself. I had to argue with them telling them that if I wanted to do that I wouldn’t be asking for it now. I would wait until I was coming back in tonight.
When my kids went down to buy ice cream I had to take it back because it looked melted and refrozen (they were the cones) looked disgusting. Still got charged for them and my kids threw them in the trash when they gave me “better ones” that looked bad as well.
When we first came in the shower door wasn’t working and it took forever for someone to fix it just so we could shower.

The hotel is close to local attractions. It is priced well compared to other hotels in the area. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
Negatives:
The room had a slight smell to it. Can't say exactly what it was, but immediately upon entering, it was something that you could definitely tell. Once there for while, I adjusted, but when we would leave and return, I would once again smell it. I believe it has something to do with the hotel being pet friendly.
