The hotel was fine overall. But I did find that the parking regulations were too stressful. The parking sucked. I had company and he couldnt park at the hotel parking garage. That was embarrassing. There should be at least two car spaces upon request. I paid like over $500! It was ridiculous!

It was more than acceptable. I didnt like the fact that my room was on the 1st. I thought I was paying for a balcony.

The space/ size of the room!! Kitchenette!
Negatives:
The pet friendly policy, carpet dirty in the room, the hall floor that we were on was not vacuumed, shampooed, or moped in the the areas that could be moped, and we stayed for a week .. the floor was never vacuumed .. balcony is small ... if a hotel is going to be pet friendly, more cleaning should be in place!! all carpet should be shampooed frequently .. this was our 2nd stay ... the first stay was a little better, even tho there was a dead fly on one of the lamps ...

Little Steep but Great Accommodation
Positives:
The room was great! The location and the view were fantastic! The staff was very nice also! Overall really enjoyed our stay!
Negatives:
But only having 1 working elevator was frustrating---can't imagine how long the wait would be in the summer months. Also that short toilet was a little crazy---felt like it was kidi-sized. Lastly, always had to wait on our car for the valet parking, but the guys did the best they could. I would suggest maybe have more than one valet at check-out time and dinner time.

Good Place to Stay
Positives:
The room was excellent - beautiful and very clean! The front desk staff was very friendly and sweet. The valet gentleman was SUPER (rode skateboard). Wish I had taken both of these peoples name because they truly deserved to be recognized!!

Parking lot way too tight to park car. Did not like the idea of having to park car 3 blocks away. AND not taking cash to pay for room. Had to use credit card. Thankfully I had a credit card with me - if not, what would have happened??

Hotel accommodation perfect. Weather not so much.

Didn't stay for 7 days. Rug was wet 3/4 across bed room for 3 days. We had to go pick up towels and wash cloths. Pool was not heated. Couldn't get in room till 5:30, cause floor was wet. Than was evaluated during the nite for electrical problem. Left next morning.

The parking situation was terrible and the lighting in the kitchen was horrible. I couldnt have prepared a meal if I wanted to. I stayed in another Marriott in Chester Va. few days before going to Va Beach and the lighting in the bathroom and hallways were horrible. I couldnt even see my room number. So its either a maintenance issue at both locations or Marriott is attempting to save money on their light bill.

This hotel made a week at the beach a very relaxing and easy experience.

Breakfast was good, great location
Negatives:
Staff was rude and unwilling to help. Had to request linens multiple times. Charged my card twice for the room. Staff member at front desk was either rude and reluctant to offer any help or reseaonable alternatives. Spoke with multiple staff members about charges to my card and mistakes were still made. Wasn't offered anything at all for all the mistakes and inconveniences with stay. One Staff member didn't even know his log in for the computer to attempt to help.

It was affordable and roomy .. breakfast was great

It was farther down the boardwalk than I had previously stayed so there was no live shows or street performers nearby I also didnt care for the a/c vent being on the balcony which was very small and almost impossible to sit out there with the heat from the a/c unit blowing on you that was rather disappointing but livable
