This was a nice location - about a mile from Hwy 90. The lobby was very nice. I liked my room, and its location near the back door, which made it easy to get things in and out of my car.
Negatives:
I couldn't take a shower - the water only came out extremely hot or cold - the internet worked intermittenly but was fast enough. The tv and choice of stations was great. I left before the 6:30 a.m. breakfast.

Breakfast is the usual “free” meal; cereal, instant oatmeal with the clump of brown sugar that falls out in a hard lump, bagels, fruit, etc. I looked but didn’t partake. Across the street however, is a Cle Elum institution, locally owned diner with excellent hot breakfast! Great hash browns, biscuits, eggs from real chickens, and so on. Hotel has ample free parking. Lots of space to walk or run a dog on a dirt road and grassy area right behind the back of the hotel. If bringing a dog this will be a space anyone will use.
Negatives:
Quick summary, in my experience this would be an example of a 2.5* place, not 3 star. It’s a hotel that is ready for a refresh; paint, rugs, landscaping, lighting. Advertised “pet friendly” and then charged $20 night - told “it’s in the fine print”. On top of that, after confirming I had a dog (12lbs) I ended up in a room with only a full sized bed instead of the queen I had reserved (no discount) on a night when the hotel was about half full. Yes, I disclosed I was bringing a dog with me on my reservation. Feel like $94.00 is too much for my night in this place.
