No house keeping and it’s been 6 days since my stay and my deposit hasn’t gone back into my account yet. Also, the price given from booking.com was off by $6

the lobby was very nice and orderly. the rooms were clean and well kept. the location was convenient to other downtown amenities.

our door lock (for the room) malfunctioned and locked us out of our room. we had to be relocated In the middle of the night, while all of our belongings stayed in our room. there was no night staff to help.

The room and guest experience was great until the day of check out.
Negatives:
The morning of our departure there was no food for breakfast. Really- when we went down at 9:15 (breakfast was supposed to be available until 10:00) the scene was utter chaos, No food- tons of people waiting. Finally left and went to Dennys. The response from the hotel was standard form letter- no offer of compensation (a discount on a future stay would have been welcome).
To add insult to injury- the charged me for parking (which I did not use). They refunded the parking fee ($108 for 2 days!!) without a hint of an apology.
I get it- things go wrong, but where was the manager to take charge? Apologize for the situation? Extend breakfast service by 30 minutes? Tell their guests what to expect?
A failure at the highest level.
