If I had to pick something, I would say that the only thing to really like about the property was the price-if that.
Negatives:
The room had an unpleasant musty odor apparently when walking in the door. Upon pulling the blankets back on the bed, I found what looked like black dog hair around the pillows and all over the fitted sheet and the sheets themselves were worn thin to the point of transparency in many places. The floors were not adequately vacuumed nor was the bathroom cleaned well. If I thought they would allow it, I would have gone to the front desk and requested a housekeeping cart to do a thorough cleaning of the room myself.

Felt a little shabby and in need of an upgrade. We booked two rooms and after we had already gone into one of the rooms the manager mentioned that they had two adjoining rooms he could have put us in. That would have been nice to know at check in.

Bathroom window couldn’t even lock it and not Curtain at all, to be found, how do use a coat hanger to lock the window. Bathroom towels have holes in them that should’ve been used for rags.

I was woken up at 1 am by the front desk person. First they called and I didn’t answer as I am a woman traveling alone. 5 minutes later they knocked at my door. They asked who I was. They should have known because I checked around 3 pm and they gave me a key to the room. The wake up scared me and I was not able to go back to sleep for many hours. This was just so wrong and unprofessional. You would think for their error they would have “comped” me at least have the price. They did not. This was a huge mistake.

The room smelled dingy, like smoke, and musty. It was outdated and in dire need of a bathroom remodel. The worst part was I did not feel safe and I was nervous my car was going to be broken into. There was a jeep in the parking lot that was torn apart, the gas tank had a siphon in it and there was tools and broken parts all over the ground. The management did not give any reassurance and told me “this is just the part of town we live in” when I addressed the safety.
