Positives:
Proximity to the basketball venue
Negatives:
Our team parents like to stay at Embassy to utilize their large, open lobby on the main floor. This year we were not allowed to stay in the lobby past 11pm.

Very good
Positives:
The location is great, right downtown. The atrium/inner courtyard is beautiful.
Negatives:
It wasn’t very clean. The bed was well-worn, we did not have a good nights rest. The breakfast was meh. No complimentary water. Our stay was 280 for one night before drinks, dinner, water, and parking.

Will try somewhere new next...
Positives:
The location was phenomenal. Also, the breakfast was wonderful.
Negatives:
It could have been Cleaner, but it was OK. We had so much noise that my family could not sleep until about 3 AM in the morning. The guest kept their room door so that it wouldn’t shut and it was constantly slamming against the bar. Also kids in adults continuously running up and down the hallway hollering. We complained about 1 AM to the front desk and they did say something and it got some better but not completely

It was not a good...
Positives:
It's nice that there are a variety of places to eat near by.
Negatives:
The Embassy used to be worth the higher price but since the renovations it just isn't worth it. I've had more comfortable sleep in a $70 dollar a night hotel. Aside from the made to order omelets the breakfast is pretty on par with what you would get at any hotel that has a breakfast bar.
Since most stores at the Charleston Town Center mall have closed it is not a selling point for the hotel anymore.
The noise from the atrium at night makes it hard to get a good night's sleep.

Not worth the extra money...
Positives:
The location was convenient. There was plenty of space in the room.
Negatives:
The beds were smaller than I thought they would be. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I thought it would be. Breakfast was good but not a lot of options for dairy free. The parking was expensive.

Overall a good experience. Would...
Positives:
Staff was great! Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. The omelettes are fantastic! Pillows were soft. Bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
It's strange.. I stayed in this hotel a week ago and had an exceptionally wonderful stay, however, this time my room was not as nice. I stayed on the 6th floor last week on my drive down. The room was super clean and smelled great! However, I started in room 507 last night and it was not as nice as my 6th floor room! It was a little dusty, didn't smell really good, and the shower was set up very awkwardly. You have to get wet with cold water to turn the shower on! It's bc the layout of the room is weird. The shower door opens on the side opposite to the shower head, so you have to lean in to turn on the water!

Superb
Negatives:
It was very expensive and they charged me $50 for incidentals and I have not gotten that back, even tho the room was left in impeccable condition. That part should be added to the website because some people cannot afford 200 dollars for a room and then 50 more dollars just because they say so.

Positives:

Negatives:
Liked everything, not an exaggeration!
