Convenience to where we were going.

Was not told at booking the pool was closed for renovation. When I said something about it the women said to me "yeah well".

Staff was friendly. Room was large and clean. Location was downtown and there was a restaurant attached.

Booked this hotel with intent to have a relaxing time at the pool. Learned contractors took the pool area apart quite some time ago and the facility has no idea when it will ever be fixed. The heater doesn't have a temperature so you wake up cold or hot.

NO POOL. CALL AHEAD TO MAKE SURE THE POOL THEY ADVERTISE IS OPEN. Also checking in was a hassle like I've never experienced, the woman at the counter was short and didn't know what she was doing.

The room size was wonderful and the bed was comfy.
Negatives:
The electric fireplace; might just as well had none as it was so outdated and poor at that. The in room whirlpool; very small and didn't provide any bubbles just seemed to move water. It wasn't worth the extra money spent. The tv channels didn't have descriptives as to what the movie showing was, ( title actors, length, etc..).

Yes, I was very upset that the pool was under construction and the hot tub was cemented over. No where on the website when booking did it mention this. I specifically stayed at this hotel for the pool area. They in way accommodated us when asked too.

The website says there is a pool. It has been closed for over 2 years. reservation says free breakfast NOT Had to pay for breakfast. My wife and I were looking forward to a relaxing evening in a pool and hot tub. Very disappointed.

The room was comfortable and clean. Staff worked with us to move our hotel dates because of bad weather.
Negatives:
Communication from the hotel could have been much better. We selected this location for the pool and included breakfast, but neither were available for our stay. Some staff members gave misinformation (that there was not breakfast served the next day, even though there actually was) instead of finding the correct answer. We had two small kids with us, and this was not ok. We also asked for two pack and plays for our kids, were given an email confirmation that they would be in the room, but none were provided. We feel like all of this would have been remedied with better communication.
