Negatives: It was so horrible the room smelled when I when into the bathroom there was hair in the tub and it wasnt ours gross. I got the whirlpool room and that was disgusting omg Im so glad I brang my own cleaning stuff I wish I could get a refund or a free stay

Positives: no problems at all. Parking might be a bit of a challenge at times if you are not handicapped.
Negatives: probably our fault. The toilet was too low and not enough grab bars for the shower in tub. Perhaps we should have asked for handicap room. But we did not care, We were happy with the room and location as we had a small dog.

Positives: Room was affordable and met my expectations. Bed was comfortable.
Negatives: Only that the bathroom floor was sticky. I did not go barefoot on the carpet either. The continental breakfast was lame. No scrambled eggs, only hard boiled offered. Attendant said they can only have scrambled eggs every other day to cut costs.

Negatives: Everything OK...except when I arrived around 9pm to check in, no one was at the desk, had to wait 6-10 mins at desk the for the desk person to come back in from her smoke break outside to check me in. I walked past her outside the building but didnt realize she was the only person for the desk.

Positives: Meh! Coffee Meh! Service Meh! Organization Meh! Breakfast super Meh! (nothing I ate but the "eggs" and gravy)
Negatives: Traffic flow in breakfast nook awful, crowded, too narrow aisle, etc, for a busy Saturday morning (Sunday about same). A "busy" hotel worker with a rag in hand actually impeded ability to access service, and pushed past me like "EXCUUZE ME". Very unprofessional!!! The hotel location behind a battery store AND a gas station AND a restaurant was just awful, with a bumpy access road to facility also an annoying reminder of this fact. Not good for when someone sets up cones in parking lot to block prime parking for a wedding reception, and someone shows up with a bass boat on a trailer. Oh! The smells in the slow Schindler elevator with no fan (not an Otis btw). Someone had delighted us with cannabis odors. Grass clippings on stairwell landing never removed all weekend too. Never saw a maid. One technician I saw was likely a plumber. Biggest problem: the Best Western staff exhibited annoyance and even disparagement at the arrival of paying guests (when a large wedding party showed up). True that they overwhelmed the usual desk services for a time, but that attitude was pervasive, and colored the entire stay. My request to check in a bit early was not appreciated by staff due to the large influx of other guests. This should not be that big of a deal for a major hotel chain on a Friday afternoon. Yet, there was only one staff member at desk working to check in patrons. Never been so happy to drop a key in desk box and run.
