Clean rooms, friendly staff. For the price, you can't get a better deal in the area

Room was very clean, heater worked great and easy to use. Fridge was very cold, coffee machine and micro worked fine. TV was fine, shower worked well.
Lots of lighting with 4 lamps, 2 nightstands, blow-dryer. Decor for a $60 room was actually pretty decent.
Negatives:
The building was really old and decrepit, coffee wasn't hot late morning or afternoon. Mattress was pretty bad and barely usable.

One staff member tried to help us until she was rudely shut down by the manager

The room had issues and although we could have been moved the manager said we could just deal with it and as a result we ended up staying elsewhere our last night. They refuse to reply to cs from booking.com to resolve a complaint.

I booked at a pet friendly location. But it was not did not allow dogs over 50 lb, dogs are not allowed to be left unattended it it was clearly not pet friendly. Said I could cancel free of charge, because of the pet policy then charged me

I liked the location and the price point. It was reasonably priced for the quality.

The hotel is older and could probably use some renovating. I didn't feel the need to complain about it too much, because the prices was better than any of the other hotels in the area.
