We originally appreciated the manager's understanding when, after we checked in and saw that our "king suite" was nothing like the pictures portrayed, she empathized and agreed that the picture was inaccurate and even said, "this room doesn't exist on our property," and guaranteed us a full refund. She said that she didn't know where Booking got that picture. This was shortlived. A little over a week after we were supposed to have stayed (we were "refunded" our money and found another hotel at which to stay), a charge for the entire amount was posted to our account.
Negatives:
After a week of back and forth between Booking.com, the Comfort Inn, and, of course, me - I ended up speaking to the manager's manager (?!) - who was rude, condescending, and dismissive. She tried to make a point that all rooms aren't the same - but is this not how you choose your room - by clicking on the pictures attached to your room's description? And she admitted that she took the pictures supplied to Booking - pictures obviously staged to look more appealing. She told Booking.com: "Guest checked into room at our hotel. Guest stated in previous correspondence that they did stay with us." Now, why would we say this (and to whom?) if we were refunded our money, left, and stayed at another hotel? Would we want to be charged for stays at two hotels? In fact, Comfort Inn was fully booked that night and most likely rebooked our room to another customer. Wonderful customer service... please do not stay here.

Breakfast was very good. My boys are waffle connoisseurs' and they said this batter was one of the best. The food was constant and fresh and the room was well managed for the large amount of people coming through. The lady Melinda, was incredible at dealing with the large constant turnover, cleaning and refilling food.

I have stayed here several times, and it's always a good choice. We stayed on New Year's Eve, and there was a HUGE family gathering. Honestly, I expected to hear a lot more noise, but it was very quiet, which was lovely. We stayed two nights this time, and everything was great. Thank you.
