The room wasnt ready, and I never received the phone call it had been completed and was ready after I was told to come back when I got the call. The staffI had spoken with someone on the phone previous to my stay and explained I only had a visa debit I was told that wasnt a problem. When I was finally checking in I was told I had to have a credit card. The staff member argued with me, was not discreet and said my managers right here. The manager listened to the situation and took a 400 deposit. Thats fine but the facial expressions on both of them were very rude as were both of their attitudes. My young child was present and even she was upset with the way they spoke to me.

Staff lovely and very helpful. Very quiet and pleasant hotel with generous room spaces. Very clean facilities and excellent restaurant. Very well located with only a 20 minute train ride to the centre of Vancouver. Great shopping mall at Metrotown, too.
Negatives:
Our room didn't get serviced one of the days, which was disappointing, as we were out of bathroom and kitchenette supplies, and had to ring down to request toilet paper, teabags, milk etc.

The hotel was clean and the rooms quiet. Staff was friendly and the location convenient.
Negatives:
I called for early check-in after requesting it through my booking. The man that answered was friendly but made it more complicated than it needed to be. Also it would have been good to be given direction on using the key card to access floors in the elevator. We had never experienced it before so it took us a couple of minutes to figure out.
