Negatives:
We never even stayed at our room. We arrived at the location, with a reservation, which I had booked days before with my debit/Mastercard. The reservation was successful.
The staff at the location refused me and my family because I didn't have a credit card to hold the room with? Or pay with? She refused to let us talk to someone else..wanted to hold the room amount on my credit card and have us pay with debit... a double payment?
She refused to work with us. I was never sent policies where it said you had to have a credit card. We were refused service. The woman at the desk was rude.
We were there for my sons basketball tournament and it left 5 people with nowhere to stay, having to drive around a strange town and look for other accommodations and pay more.
Terrible service. Will not go back there.

Positives:
Ease of access for highway travellers, we were pulling a 30' trailer and parking was no problem. Also free breakfast was a bonus for getting on the road early.

The room was cleaner than any place I have been this year. The staff was polite, the breakfast was nice and the coffee tasted good.
Negatives:
There could have been a little more attention to the breakfast room in the morning. Dirty tables and ran out of coffee and it wasn't very busy so it would have been easy to keep up on.

The smoke from the restaurant was so bad, our eyes were burning and all our clothes smelt like BBQ all trip! We were also told the wrong time for breakfast, so had to go elsewhere

The room was big and the beds and pillows very comfy. The staff was friendly.
Negatives:
We were told hot breakfast was served until 9 am, we went at 8:40 and they didn't have anything left, I told the guy at reception and he first just said "it is almost over" to which I replied "yes, but you guys said until 9 am and we are here before 9" (we were never told that if we came between 8:30 and 9 and the breakfast was gone by then then they wouldn't make any more, if they had said that, then we would have been there at 8, we were just trying to sleep a little longer because we had been on the road for hours for days and we were so tired)
he did get us more food and we were able to have breakfast. So yay!

I like the daytime desk fella!he's super nice.Also that there's a bar and a restaurant and a liquor store all right there with the hotel only place I'll stay when I come to ft st john

I misplaced my credit card buti ha e it on my phone but the nighttime desk guy wouldn't let me use it pike that so I had to go buy a 150 prepaid visa...so not totally terrible just a little inconvinent.
