Positives:
Very close to the baseball field on MacArthur Island Park. Airport shuttle service was prompt and effective. Even though the hotel was undergoing major renovations, our stay was quiet.
Negatives:
Pool was closed for renovations, but it was disclosed well in advance of the stay, no problem, just would have been nice for the kids.

Hotel was under renovation, at time of booking there was no mention of the pool being closed and this was one of the main reasons for staying there. The day after the booking the hotel said that they were renovating rooms (which we were fine with), no mention of the pool being off limits. We would not have booked it if we had known. Workers were working beyond the time that the hotel said they would and using the hotels luggage carts to move garbage to the dumpsters, which of course made them dirty for us afterwards.

The view from our room was one of the best we ever had. We had the best burgers we've had in a long while at the restaurant. But Jack at the front counter is absolutely fantastic. He was funny sociable and very helpful every time we passed by or had a question.
Negatives:
The cold and snow and terrible roads none of which had anything to do with them lol.
