Positives:
The restaurant next to the hotel is pretty decent for breakfast!
Negatives:
Our room Im assuming was switched last min(crossed out room numbers) as the room right next to us was open with a fan blowing, for 24 hrs, it stank like cigarettes SOOO badly! The entire Friday and most of Saturday every time we were in or near our room all we could breathe in was cig. Smoke. Was mentioned at the front and was brushed off as if I was assuming something wrong. No sir, it was 100% disgusting cig. Smoke. It was less than enjoyable for my son and

Positives:
Breakfast was great! Love the restaurant, decor and staff too. Everything was perfect.
Negatives:
The ONLY thing we didnt like was the size of the bathroom. Not only was the bathroom small, the Countertop around the sink was very small, I do understand this is an old hotel - which is part of the charm. So I would highly recommend to others. So nice, so clean, so up to date.

Loved it. We would stay there again.
Negatives:
The price point: the actual room ended up being more than $100 over booked price. Hot tub was so hot you couldnt even sit in it I spend 20-25 days a month in hotels and Ive never had to spend additional $100+ for the correct room.

Perfect
Positives:
Walking distance to the city center with a lot of restaurants and cafes. The breakfast is good, but there are many cheaper options in town. The room was clean, but a bit outdated. Okay for a couple of days.
Negatives:
The air-conditioning was very noisy and old, especially at night it can get annoying. Windows can't be open. The room was small for four people.

Fair stay for a couple of days in Nelson - City Center in walking distance
Positives:
The staff was excellent and very helpful immediately upon arrival. The location is ideal. You can park for the weekend and not have to move your vehicle. Bonus, the parking is free! Restaurant next door has pretty good food. Walking distance to great coffee shops and other restaurants in town.
Negatives:
The building is a little outdated, but overall in decent condition.

Negatives:
the stair hallway is obnoxiously hot almost not able to breath in there, maybe crack a window or add some AC to the stairs!
