The location was fine, about a block from the water.
Negatives:
They say they are pet friendly but then you arrive and they do not allow your dog in the reception area, they then inform you that your dog is also not welcome anywhere in the courtyard and put you in a room in the back corner..where bats sleep in the hallway.

We had rented a deluxe suite and was told we couldn't take this room .
Due to haveing our dog with us.
So we opt to go and take a another kitchenette room in the motel to find out the Heater to the room was not operational . So we used the stove to warm ourselves.
All was nice of the Front desk to bring a portable
Space heater to warm ourselves two days latter.
We survived small inconvenience.
Negatives:
Things of amenities say the motel had in the room not all was there .
So we shopped & purchased the extras needed to enjoy our stay in the room.

Positives:
The recent renovations have resulted in providing a luxurious look and feel to the rooms. This is my 3rd Stay here, with the exceptional garden in the courtyard, and the quiet , low traffic location and 2-minute walk to the excellent Beach Park make the stays special.
Negatives:
As this is low season, with few guests at the Inn, and the owners were busy working on renovations, the personal service was not quite as available as usual, but was not a problem.

The checkin was delayed, even though it was in late afternoon. The office was locked and I had to phone to request attendance of staff. The 20 min wait seemed excessive. Otherwise everything was smooth.
