Super 8 by Wyndham Penticton

Negatives: We were super upset about the room given to us. Me and my partner usually go on trips and we frequently book places to stay the night or a couple of days. We were extremely disappointed with the room, SO UNCLEAN. The bed has vomit streaks on the side and the linens has some hairs all around it. We complained to the front desk and demanded another room but they have failed to give us a new one saying it was the only room available. In the end, my and may partner slept in the car. We were so disgusted!!

Negatives: The room smelled of disinfectant. Everything was very old. The air conditioner was deafening and impossible to adjust, pool was empty, no breakfast was included even though the ad said it was.

Negatives: This staircase needs an inspection and repair! This place needs to be cleaned up! Disgusting

Negatives: This motel seems to be in the midst of renovation. Outside was not in good condition. Pool was not working. Stairs were dirty and unstable. Air conditionedr was very loud and seemed overworked. TV did not work.

Negatives: the room was in need of updating & cleaning

Negatives: The place was so run down. There were pipes exposed throughout, random paint spots on the walls, white stains on the couch and missing the smoke detector. I felt disgusted when ever I would touch anything in there. It was the same price as the high end hotels too, except they were sold out which led us to this place.

Negatives: Run down, no lamps in room and many spots not completely fixed. Ie exposed drywall, water lines, etc

Negatives: Less than an hour after checking in, we discovered that besides the dead bugs under the sink in the kitchenette, there was a general lack of cleanliness: white powder by the coffee machine, hair on the bedsheets, and a hole stuffed with plastic bags under the sink to the outside, as well as a general unpleasant odor in the room. Perhaps they'd tried to spray for bugs, and that is why they were dead? We felt that it was not a room ready for occupancy, and checked out. At that time, the front desk gentleman said that we would receive a refund of half the price, so $114.84/2=$57.42. He also said it would arrange this with Booking.com, through whom we booked and call us the following day. It has now been 2.5 weeks, and we have heard nothing from Booking.com. The facility says they have attended to their part with Booking.com.

Negatives: There were no bedside lamps in the bedroom. Found that a little disappointing. Both my wife and I like to read before going to sleep.

Negatives: Need to get more furniture, I didnt have where to put clothes,you should at least have a chair in the bedroom,no mattress cover very poorly sheets

Negatives: there needs to be a TV in the bedroom. falling asleep watching TV is not nearly as comfortable on the sofa.

Negatives: Pool was broke wich was I needed, tv didnt work,

Negatives: drug addicts and run down

Negatives: breakfast was not provided as advertised. The TV did not work. The main room was plain and bare (a couch, a small end table desk type, a single chair), the lamp did not work, some renovations were still not completed. The main foyer/reception is out dated and in need of repairs would not recommend it and not up to the Super 8 standards seen at other hotels
