Staff was very friendly and the facility was clean.
Negatives:
The location had a lot of homeless people which was unsettling to ones safety. Also there is no where near enough parking for the hotel, as a guest I would expect when I pay money for a hotel room a parking spot on site should be provided!

Good hotel for the price!
Positives:
Always super clean, beds are comfy, love the room layout with the seating area. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, great breakfast..
Negatives:
The only negative was the shower head, not sure if it was just my unit but the stream from the shower head was quite weak, may need to be changed. Otherwise the place is great.

Parking was so horrible, kind of sketchy downtown, our room didnt have a bathtub, pool was small and no hot tub.

The gym is open 24 hours and looked very nice, unfortunately I didn't have time to try it out...next time!

Positives:
We were driving to Banff from Prince Rupert, and this was a convenient place to stop overnight. The parking is free and there were plenty of spaces available. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. The staff are very friendly and eager to help.
Negatives:
We stay at Hyatt Places in UK and USA, and previous experiences were very positive. Prince George Hyatt Place did not meet the Hyatt standards we come to expect. 1. The HVAC system in the room was incredibly loud when running, like a jet airplane, and woke us up every time it came on. The thermostat controls were not intuitive and difficult to turn the HVAC off. 2. Floor #5 had an overwhelming sweet smell that was almost sickening, as if the hotel had over compensated to cover up some disgusting odors. 3. Breakfast is free but it's not good. Reminded me of a cheaper hotel breakfast buffet like Motel 6 or Days Inn. I expect more quality from Hyatt.
