Positives:
Bed was comfortable. I liked the patio door to where the car was parked.
Negatives:
1. Pool and hot tub were not in service. We were not told ahead if time and were very disappointed. We were offered a coupon to use the rec centre 2 k.m away but itches single use only and did not take the place of a onsite pool.
2. The floors were filthy. They left my feet black with dirt from walking on them
3. There was no microwave as advertised.
4. The plug for the bathtub was broken so we could not have a bath.
5. There was coffee and sugar provided, but no whitener or cream.
6. The hotel refused to give us a discount on our stay, despite all these issues.

Quietness and comfort.
Negatives:
Outlets for laptop and phone chargers were limited. Bedside lamps and plugs only on one side of the bed.
Breakfast was not great - warm egg frisbees and sausage patties. Apples were bruised and battered.

It was conveniently located in the town.
Negatives:
I was woke at 2.30am by staff talking loudly to each other. There was no room service, during our 3 night stay. One morning the breakfast area was filled with a party staying at the facility who stayed an extended period of time visiting and chatting meanwhile all the seats were filled. I suggest that the staff could have suggested to the guests if they wished a reunion the breakfast eating area isn’t the place.

Positives:
The staff were wonderful, super clean rooms, comfy beds. Older Hotel, must have been fairly newly renovated. We enjoyed our stay.
Negatives:
Unfortunately the pool was under maintenance and I choose to stay in a hotel with a pool for my kids. So that they can swim. I know it’s not the staff or hotels fault. Just check if you are keen on having a pool. They did offer a voucher for the local community centre pool.

Pool and hot tub was closed - were not informed at time of booking. Walls were not sound proof at all - could hear entire conversations clearly from inside our room. Price did not match what the hotel is.

Positives:
The price was right, and the location was good. I booked here because competing hotels seemed just as good but for about $40-50 more per night. I learned that you get what you pay for, and there are no more real deals to be had in terms of hotels. If you want better, you have to pay for it.
Negatives:
We booked because of the hot-tub, which, along with the pool was "out of order". The place looked like it had seen better days. The room was big but very heavily perfumed; whichever cleaner they had used was overpowering. Luckily we were not allergic to strong scents or this could have been a problem. The room was cold and there were no extra blankets provided. Luckily the heating worked fine.

Room appeared to be clean until you found all the hairs in the beds and on the towels. Breakfast was disappointing and didn’t have much variety.
